Crucifix

Crucifix is a cross with Jesus's body. It is the symbol of the Christianity to remind the Christians of the great sacrification of Jesus. Crucification is the painful method of execution for slaves and non-Romans convicted of serious crimes in Roman Empire. The symbol is primarily used among Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican Christians, and certain Lutheran. For Orthodox, there are two-dimensional crucifixes. One shows Jesus as already dead, while the other shows Jesus still suffering. A crucifix is often worn on a necklace as a pendant of charm jewelry, or is attached to a rosary. Sometimes, priests will bless a crucifix for Christians before the Christians place it in their home as a reminder of what Christ has sacrificed for them.
